Tara wishes for a pair of shoes to wear to school because she came into foster care without any. Tara is wearing flip flops until she can get a pair of tennis shoes.This wish would help her feel valued and loved.
Tara is 21 years old and lives in NC
Tara entered foster care when she was younger and was part of a large sibling group. Unfortunately, most of the siblings were separated. She has recently transitioned to independent living and tries to stay in touch with her siblings as much as possible. Despite her challenges, Tara has a lot of energy and a vibrant personality, which makes her unique and wonderful. She enjoys art, music, and going to the movies. Tara loves being around others and enjoys having conversations with her friends.
