Dewayne is a former foster youth who emancipated from the system. He is a junior college transfer; he was very involved in leadership and the arts in high school and junior college. Dewayne wants to be a writer or English teacher after graduation. He is excited to start his journey at the university, he would love some help to outfit his dorm. It would help make his dorm feel like a home.
Dewayne is 29 years old and lives in CA
Dewayne is a junior transfer student. He has had a rough upbringing, however, he is very persistent and resilient. Dewayne is an English major. He is still unsure what he wants to do after graduation, he is thinking about teaching, but we will see. One thing we all really like about Dewayne is his gregariousness and his ability to light up a room when we walks in. Dewayne has a bright future ahead of himself.
