Shawn wishes for a Fishing Boonie Hat to keep him safe in the sun. He loves fishing and needs a really good hat that will stay on his head and keep him from sunburn. This is hat that will meet his special needs by fitting on his larger size head due to hydrocephalus and staying on by strapping under his chin.

Shawn is a wonderful young man who, despite struggling with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect, has a bright and caring spirit. With many special needs, he requires a high level of care and attention, but he thrives when he is part of a loving family. Shawn enjoys working on fixing things and finding satisfaction in hands-on activities. He has a fondness for Chick-fil-A and loves listening to music in his downtime. Driven by his passion for helping others, Shawn aspires to become a teacher someday, eager to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
