Omar just completed his Freshman year at the University of California, Riverside as a Neuroscience Major. During his time in foster care, he always looked at his life in the system as part of his identity and not feel ashamed about it. The foster care system molded him into becoming something better for himself and his siblings. Although he is a middle child, he believes his younger and older sibling will be proud of his accomplishments, despite the feckless lifestyle of moving from home to home.

Omar is entering his Sophomore year of college this fall. He did amazingly well his Freshman year and can not wait to take on the challenges of next semester! Omar would love an iPad to help him take notes in class. An iPad is lightweight and easy enough to keep all of his notes in one place, as well as his textbooks. One major component Omar would love is the ability to download his textbooks and make notes right on them without damaging a physical book. He is also interested in using some scanner apps as well as other note taking apps only available through the App Store! Omar can not wait to conquer this challenging year with his new iPad!
