Yves is hoping for a new fishing pole and equipment for ice fishing! He has been fishing since he was 13 and last winter was his first time ice fishing. He’s been looking forward to being more prepared for ice fishing this year! Will you help grant this fishing Christmas wish for Yves?
Yves is 24 years old and lives in NY
Yves came to the United States as a refugee when he was 3 years old as an orphan. He is currently in classes to prepare him to age out of the foster care system. He is a very motivated young man who has secured a job for himself and has maintained this job for over a year. Yves has not been adopted, although he has hoped for a family for many years. Yves is now looking forward to gaining his independence. He is also a part of a committee with the mission of making the foster care system better.

"Hi Yves, I saw this wish and knew it was meant for me to grant. Not only do we live nearby in Rochester, NY but my mother in law told me last year she was getting my husband fishing equipment for Christmas right before she passed away at age 52 very unexpectedly. I got him fishing equipment in her memory last year and this year I am giving it to you in her memory. I truly hope you enjoy it and see the special meaning behind this gift!"
