Malik is a nice boy who loves to dress up, and he especially loves wearing tennis shoes. He would like a new pair of shoes this holiday season, and he would be so happy and grateful to have shoes like other kids his age. Malik doesn't ask for much, and he is always so thankful just for everything he gets, so this would be such a special treat!
Malik is 17 years old and lives in TX
Malik has been in care since he was 8 years old. He likes playing sports and video games, and enjoys watching cars shows on TV. He was left at school by his mom and was never picked up, introducing CPS to this child's life. The child has been moved through 15 different foster homes and spent time in 13 different psychiatric hospitals to support his behavior disorder. Most of the time these behaviors happen at school because school is a trigger for him, but we have been working on his transitioning with his aides.
