Guts and Glory book for Jackson who loves reading about the Civil War

Posted Nov 22, 2020
Jackson has lost one of his favorite books and has been really hard on himself about it. He wishes for a replacement book so he can continue to read about the things he loves. He loves learning about history and wars and he really wants a copy of his favorite book.

Jackson is 19 years old and lives in NC

Jackson is a vivid outdoorsy type of boy. He loves to go fishing, hunting, hiking, bird watching, and just about anything else you can do in the woods or at a stream or river. He also likes to have fun with the neighbor's kids, enjoys church, and likes to watch hunting and fishing shows on TV. Jackson is in therapeutic foster care and has had a very hard year. He has had several moves and things just don't get easy for him.

Awesome Human grants the wish for Jackson! Thanks Awesome Human.

"Dear Jackson I’m so sorry to hear that you lost your book. I know everything is hard and scary right now, but you’re a brave young man and you’ll do great things! Abraham Lincoln also has it tough in the beginning, but he went on to save America! Lincoln once said “when you reach the end of your rope tie a knot and hold on. Hold on Jackson, the best it’s yet to come! Happy holidays my dear. "
