Shawn wishes for a season pass to Carowinds to motivate him to make honor roll the rest of the school year. He made honor roll this last semester but he had to have a lot of extra tutoring and mentoring. A season pass to Carowinds would give him a positive goal to work toward and put his motivation into high gear thinking about a fun summer. Covid-19 has him feeling stuck and sad because there have been so many changes at school both in-person and with virtual learning. Hacing a fun summer to look forward to full of rollercoasters and laughs will help push Shawn to have a successful semester at school!
Shawn is 18 years old and lives in NC
Shawn is a wonderful young man who, despite struggling with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect, has a bright and caring spirit. With many special needs, he requires a high level of care and attention, but he thrives when he is part of a loving family. Shawn enjoys working on fixing things and finding satisfaction in hands-on activities. He has a fondness for Chick-fil-A and loves listening to music in his downtime. Driven by his passion for helping others, Shawn aspires to become a teacher someday, eager to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
