Whymair is an intelligent, funny and athletic young man, who is also incredibly resilient. Despite numerous attempts, Whymair has not been able to have a consistent relationship with either of his parents. He does have a wonderful support system in place with his grandmother and grandfather; after living with them on and off for 10 years, he finally found some stability three years ago when he moved in with them full time. Whymair was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age and can struggle with impulsive behaviors as well as his decision making skills. With the help of his grandparents and other supports, he is learning coping strategies that can help him when he is struggling. Whymair's interests are varied, and he enjoys playing basketball and football, bike riding, dancing, rapping, cooking and reading. Perhaps one of the most telling things about Whymair are his career aspirations. He dreams of playing professional basketball , but If basketball does not work out he has his heart set on becoming a chef or going into the field of law enforcement.
