A new laptop for Kristiona who teaches preschool children

Kristiona is a hard working, self motivated young woman who has come so far in life and is looking forward to changing the world in the foster care system. She is currently pursuing her dream by getting her masters degree in social work or nonprofit management while also working with preschool children as a teacher. She has been using the same Chromebook that she acquired in middle school and that laptop has presented many problems, including the loss of several important work documents, her book, and constantly has to be plugged in. She uses her laptop in her job as a teacher and needs to be able to access certain programs and build lesson plans etc. She would be so grateful to have this gift to continue her success in her job and education.
Kristiona is 29 years old and lives in CO
Kristiona was placed in foster care at the age of two. She was adopted but later bounced around from foster home to foster home at the age of nine. After being returned to foster care, she aged out. Despite facing everyday obstacles and medical issues, Kristiona became independent and started her college journey, which has been successful. She has graduated with her Bachelor's degree and is now looking to continue her education to work with children. Currently, she works as a teacher at an early head start preschool and enjoys every moment of it. Kristiona is committed to breaking the generational cycle of abuse and lack of education. Her ultimate goal is to own and run a summer camp for children in foster care, providing them with not only fun but also therapeutic and mentoring support.
