Sky and her brother were just removed from their mother's care and are now living with their father for the first time. Their father was always involved and helped provide for the children but did not have custody of them. Now that the father has custody, he is trying to get everything together for the children which now includes school clothes and supplies last minute. The mother is very angry that she lost custody and is refusing to give the children their belongings or help provide financially for the children. A gift card to Target would allow Sky to pick out a new backpack and school supplies to start off the year right!
Sky is 16 years old and lives in NJ
Sky is a great big sister who is always looking out for her younger sibling. She may be quiet, but never fails to speak up for her brother. Sky has grown very introverted after struggling over the last year, and is hoping to find some interests that can pull her out of her shell. In her free time, she really just likes to play on her phone right now. Sky has started transitioning and is currently using he/him pronouns. Sky now goes by Milo.
