Since entering foster care Jewels has made great progress in terms of reaching her developmental milestones. She has a play therapist who is working on reducing Jewels' anxiety. Jewels becomes anxious when told not to do something and will begin to cry. Her foster family and therapist continue to work on this with her. Once Jewels gets to know you she is a very friendly and affectionate little girl who will offer kisses and hugs. Jewels is also learning more words in order to expand her vocabulary. She loves to play in her pretend kitchen and enjoys playing with her blocks.

Jewels is working on improving her fine motor skills. Jewels' therapist has stated that Jewels is in need of more activities that involve sensory activities. By receiving this fun sand table Jewels will feel encouraged to get her hands dirty while she manipulates fun new objects.
