Luis spent much of the last month in and out of the hospital, and was disappointed to not have a "normal" start to the school year. He is now on the mend and happy to be back in school with his friends. He wishes for some new athletic shoes for recess and the playground so he can run and jump and feel like his old self.
Luis is 13 years old and lives in CT
Luis is a sweet, caring boy, who loves to spend time playing sports outside. He shares a special bond with his younger brother, and was very happy when they were reunited in the same foster home. Despite missing many days in his early elementary years, he really enjoys school, where he excels in a variety of subjects and is at the top of his class.
