A Birthday Tablet for Davion to communicate with his out-of-town relatives

Davion experiences bouts of sadness as he sometimes feel all alone. His father is incarcerated and his mother is homeless and not accessible to him. He recently found out he has relatives in another state and he has made phone contact with them. He would like to be able to Zoom with these relatives at least once a week to begin to get to know them. A tablet will help him accomplish this and give him a sense of belonging knowing he has family members that are there for him, even though they may be in another state.
Davion is 16 years old and lives in TX
Davion recently came back into care. Unfortunately, he has been in and out of the system since he was very young due to his mother's drug use. He is deeply hurt by his past trauma and states he just wants to live without being disrupted again. He enjoys music, sports and cooking. He has a medical challenge so he has to have dialysis three times a week. He says he used to be sad and depressed about it, but he now knows that if he follows the rules the doctors have laid out, he will be better soon and hopes to be placed on a transplant list. So he is happy that there is hope!
