Sanaiya is mourning the loss of a sibling but doesn't quite understand it. Sanaiya knows her sibling is gone but thinks he is coming back. She knows that everyone around her is sad and gets sad too but because she and her brother, who are both so young, just want to play all day. Their caseworker is requesting a Target gift card for Sanaiya so that when her mother is ready, she can take her shopping for a new toys to play with. She hopes this will help keep her entertained while the family grieves the loss of the baby.

Sanaiya is the cutest, sweetest little girl who is always smiling and talks to anyone who will listen. She loves going to school and playing with her friends. At home she acts like the mom to her younger brother and thinks he should play with her at all times and do whatever she says, which sometimes includes dressing him up for tea parties.
