Ashely has been working on self-care and going to the gym religiously every morning at 5:30. This has been so wonderful for her physical and mental health and wellness. Ashley is currently in a Master's program for Social Work, and she is completing a rigorous internship. Given that she is at the gym so early in the morning, she has to shower and get ready for her internship at the gym. Understandably, she is on a tight timeline, and has not been able to dry or style her hair at the gym the way she wants to. Ashley is hoping for an Airwrap Complete Hair Styler that not only will dry and style her hair in 20 minutes, she will get the gift of time to get to her internship in the morning stress free. Ashley also served in the military, and had to wear her hair in a specific style at all times. Now, she has the freedom to express herself through her hair and clothes, and she is not going to take that for granted. This styling tool will give her a much needed confidence boost at her internship where she is proving herself to be an excellent member of the next generation of social workers.
Ashley is 35 years old and lives in CO
Ashley was born to parents who both had mental health disorders and developmental delays. When she was 14 her father was diagnosed with a terminal brain disease and passed away only eight months later. Her mother was unable to care for her and her sister and they ended up in foster care. Living in a group home she graduated from high school and went on to college where she graduated with her degree in Psychology. She has done a lot with her life, including joining the military, getting married, and having beautiful children of her own. She is currently working in hospice to help others through their grief. She received her Master's in Social work in May 2022. and hopes to advocate for children in foster care, as her team advocated for her.

"Thank you soo much to the amazing human who granted my wish!!! I am a young mom who is studying for my masters in social work. I have an internship 3 days a week and have to wear business casual attire. On those mornings I’m running around like a crazy person trying to get my kids ready and myself ready. It takes forever to do my hair. Usually the rest of my day is chaotic and I feel like it is because my morning started crazy. I am so excited to be able to do my hair super fast and not have such a stressful morning! I feel like it will really set up my day for success! I am so grateful to you for granting my wish. I would never be able to afford something like this and I feel like it will also really help my self confidence! Your awesome!!"
