Malik has been in care since he was 8 years old. He likes playing sports and video games, and enjoys watching cars shows on TV. He was left at school by his mom and was never picked up, introducing CPS to this child's life. The child has been moved through 15 different foster homes and spent time in 13 different psychiatric hospitals to support his behavior disorder. Most of the time these behaviors happen at school because school is a trigger for him, but we have been working on his transitioning with his aides.

Malaki enjoys wearing suits to church and school or even just being casual with a tie daily. Malaki has had a growth spurt and needs a new pair of shoes. Dressing up gives him confidence and makes him feel good. He also gets compliments from his teachers and friends when he dresses nicely. He would be grateful to have a new pair of shoes so he can wear them to church and school.
