Janae has a speech impediment. Her tablet was damaged during Hurricane IDA and she has had a hard time accessing the programs to help improve her speech. Having a tablet would positively impact her speech and give her the boost she needs to be confident around others.
Janae is 10 years old and lives in LA
Janae is a sweet, outgoing girl who loves to read and draw. She has a twin sister named Janelle who she enjoys playing with dolls with. She also likes baking cookies and dancing. Her favorite subject is science. She wants to be a doctor along with her twin sister when she grows up.
