Jelani has expressed to both his CASA and also his resource parent that the only thing he would like for Christmas is a bike. He says that he has never had one before and would love to learn how to ride one so that he can ride it around with his friends in the neighborhood. He is very excited to spend this Christmas with his current resource family and his biological sister.

Jelani is an amazing young man who loves video games, especially his Nintendo Switch. He enjoys school and is a dedicated student. Jelani is a happy and kind individual who has the ability to put a smile on everyone’s face. Those who meet him often say that he lights up a room. Jelani has been in the foster care system for several years. While he misses his mom, he finds comfort with his resource parents.
