Catarina has experienced a whole new world while being in placement. Catarina will soon return to her native country and is excited to live with family again. She would like to wish for a travel TV that she can use to keep herself entertained. Since she does not have a cell phone she wants the opportunity to connect with mainstream TV as much as she can.
Catarina is 18 years old and lives in CA
Catarina is a very shy but often smiling teenager who has been in foster care since 2020. She arrived as an Unaccompanied minor from Guatemala and has no family in the U.S. This was a very scary transition and she has been so brave. Catarina is very helpful and respectful in her foster home and has been learning and slowly understanding about why she was paced in foster care. Catarina is dynamic in the sense that she has picked up the English language and immersed in all English academic studies. She enjoys athletics, music and has a profound appreciation for the graphic arts.
