Ely has taken a volunteer role at his church to do photography. This will help add to his sense of belonging in his church community and also help him to explore and learn more about his budding interest in photography and photo editing. Now that he is finally in a stable foster home, Ely is discovering interests and skills that he hasn’t had the opportunity to engage with before. This camera will provide him with a positive outlet for his creativity and expression.
Ely is 19 years old and lives in NC
Ely is an outgoing young man with a contagious laugh and great sense of humor! He loves music and writing songs and has been spending a lot of time outside lately. He enjoys hiking as it helps him think about the future and he loves looking at nature in all it's splendor! He enjoys helping people, and wants to help others through hard times as a job when he is older. His favorite class in school is visual arts where he is learning photography and editing images. He cares about the people around him and wants to do work that is helpful to others. Ely is kind, responsible, and a hard worker, and he’s driven to learn new skills.
