Javon is just coming out of being without a home, and has been grateful for all the help he has received lately. As he waits on gaining stability with his housing and landing a full time job, having help with groceries would be so incredibly helpful. This will help him bridge the gap while he waits for his CalFresh benefits to be activated.
Javon is 26 years old and lives in CA
Javon is a former foster youth who has been on his own since turning 18 and aging out of the system. He preferred to handle his life on his own rather than continue to transition from one unstable or unhealthy environment to another. Javon is currently working a good job and striving to get his own apartment next year. While things in LA can be hard during a pandemic, Javon refuses to give up.
