Maria has been living independently for about a month so far, and she is quickly learning how to manage her finances. Maria just got a new job, so her clothing budget has recently been going to buying new pants and shoes for work. Maria would love to be able to pick out some new clothes for school, especially now that the weather is warming up here in Arizona! Maria loves shopping and fashion and would have a great time picking out some new items at Ross!

Maria is a funny, intelligent, independent young woman originally from Guatemala. When she first arrived in the United States over three years ago, she did not speak any English. Now she can communicate well with others, is doing great in school, and has begun a new job at a restaurant! Maria dreams of being a nurse one day. She loves hanging out with friends, watching movies, and making cookies!
