Sam is in his sophomore year of college, and is working part -time with NurseCorp and is studying nursing. He plans to transfer to next year to complete his degree with the eventual goal of becoming a physicians assistant upon graduation and receiving his masters. Sam was hospitalized as a young teen and the kind care he received there helped him cope with his trauma and piqued his interest in the medical field; helping him to determine his goals. He has been on his own since age 18 and is grateful to his case manager and others who have helped him with scholarships and college funds.
