Gia is now in her fifth placement over the span of just a few months. She is residing in a facility that really controls her ability to be a regular teenager. Gia is extremely limited in what electronics she is allowed to use, but has been approved for an Mp3 player. Gia's wish for the Mp3 player will allow her to relax and listen to music, play games, and feel some sense of normalcy.
Gia is 16 years old and lives in NJ
Gia is a sweet and resilient young girl. She has been through a lot in the past few years but remains hopeful for her future. Despite having changed school several times, she continues to work hard at maintaining good grades. Gia is very bright. She has been described by many as creative and well read - while the other girls in her past group home would watch TV, Gia preferred to spend her time reading the Bible.
