Shawn wishes for a new fishing rod because his was accidentally broken on his fishing trip. He came home with mixed emotions because he was happy he got to go on a big fishing trip, but he was sad he had to throw his pole away. This will replace his broke rod and have him ready to go fishing again.

Shawn is a wonderful young man who, despite struggling with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect, has a bright and caring spirit. With many special needs, he requires a high level of care and attention, but he thrives when he is part of a loving family. Shawn enjoys working on fixing things and finding satisfaction in hands-on activities. He has a fondness for Chick-fil-A and loves listening to music in his downtime. Driven by his passion for helping others, Shawn aspires to become a teacher someday, eager to make a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
