NM CYFD - Bernalillo CountyAnthony is the oldest of six children, and has always played the father figure to his siblings since they entered the foster care system at a very young age. He has not had the opportunity to focus on himself and his personal goals. Recently, Anthony enrolled into a GED program and began the journey of becoming a licensed foster parent so that he can be the legal guardian of his siblings. He will always go the extra mile for his family.
Anthony is currently living in a 2 bedroom apartment with his younger brother Alfred, whom he is fostering. This apartment does not have AC and the apartment is getting dangerously hot during the summer heat in New Mexico. Anthony is requesting two of these AC units so he can put one in each bedroom to help him and Alfred stay cool. This will help them focus on their educational and health needs. This is 2 of 2 wishes so Anthony can keep both of their bedrooms cool and comfortable.
