Arlene loves to express herself through art. Before she came into foster care, she rarely had the opportunity to paint. She takes art in high school but having supplies at her foster home would allow her to paint any time she would like. Art gives her an excellent outlet for her feelings and it has been very positive for her.
Arlene is 19 years old and lives in OH
Arlene came into foster care for the first time as a teenager and has tried very hard to adjust to her new life with her foster family. She has several foster brothers in the house and she enjoys spending time with them but her favorite pastime is drawing. Art and make up have been a big help for her to cope with the many changes. She loves to express herself with her unique clothes, and fun hairstyles. Her favorite class in school is art and her teachers have said that she is going to be an amazing artist one day.
