Rachel is currently attending Chattahoochee Tech where is currently studying nursing. She was due to graduate next Spring but got into a bad car accident in January where she broke her hip. Unfortunately, she had to drop her classes to tend to her medical needs. She is now feeling better, her hip has healed, and she is back in classes. The accident didn't just set her back educationally but it set her back financially; she was working when she had the car accident, but she had to stop because she was in and out of doctor's appointments and she had to get surgery. Rachel was able to get some assistance with some of her bills during the time she was out of work but now she is struggling to work and attend school at the same time. Rachel often has to choose between paying her light bills and putting groceries in her house. She recently applied for SNAP benefits and she waiting to hear something back. Granting this wish will help Rachel fill her house with groceries for the month.
