Malaki was left at the hospital by his mother, and she never returned for him. Malaki had been in foster care since then, and was eventually adopted. By the age of 5, Malaki was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. Malaki enjoys playing with his toys, bike riding and singing. He has two adoptive brothers and two half-brothers.

"Malaki, I hope you get to go out and have some fun in your new shoes. Keep up with the singing too! You never know what the future holds. My trick is to always keep writing. Even if it's not something that goes in a song, it helps me feel better. Sometimes, you get lucky and what you write makes a great song too!:-) Wishing you the best this holiday season. Take care! Dan"
