A safari and sloth encounter for John at the local wildlife park

John would like to experience a sloth encounter at a local wildlife park. It is a drive-through Safari with an option to upgrade to interact and hold/pet a sloth. This would be a dream come true for John. John absolutely loves sloths, as they were the first animal he fell in love with during his first trip to the zoo with his mother when he was two years old. John’s mother lost her parental rights last year. Sloths are John’s comfort animal, and he loves anything related to them. Recently, John mentioned that it would be a dream come true and so amazing to be able to see a real-life sloth and play with it. John has not ever asked for anything throughout the duration of his case and is so excited for the opportunity to ask for something about
John is 9 years old and lives in IN
John has been in the child welfare system for a few years. During this time, he has experienced many behavioral issues and has had stays in a behavioral facility. John has gone several months without having any behavior issues. He was recently granted the opportunity to participate in full-day school sessions in a general education classroom! John enjoys learning about animals. He enjoys animal books and watching animal shows on TV. His favorite animal is the sloth. The sloth is one of his fondest memories from going to the zoo when he was a little boy with his mom, and it is a tie to his mom. John also enjoys spending time outside.
